What's the learning curve to become a selenium architect

Hello All ,
I'm new to this space and my first thought about all your guys contribution is really motivating me to be part of this growing team.I've been a QTP architect and Tester for some time now, my interest is to learn selenium and the purpose is to understand the Implementation of various frameworks and also want the ability to code reusable functional libraries;In this process I will also be needing a lot of effort and help in understanding where to start learning selenium in order to reach my pursuit there by sharing any personal contributions and code logic that i can in the process.
Things I would like to ask/have/learn.

1) What oops concepts should I brush up on
2)Looking to create Functions (based on Java) so will need a source to look at sample libraries that will really give an oversight as to what Im getting into.
3)A detailed implementation of Keyword driven framework and functional code .

I would like to have inputs and directions and material to start off.

Hi Tarun, Appreciate your prompt response, I will go through the material and probably will get back with questions; In the mean time I wanna let you know that there is been some kind of issue with my login on this site so my email address is of the format [e-mail]--- apparently when i registered a confirmation mail was sent to my inbox yesterday and then when I was trying to log back in today for some reason the site was not letting me get in so I tried logging in without a ([e-mail]) in the above address and it gave me access to the site ..so here's something that I would like you to investigate and let me know as to why I encountered that will be great.
