Can u pls clarify does the modifications will be reflected in the application or not??

i recorded a test case with a value in the text-box and in text-area field and converted into web driver test case and it ran successfully.
After i made a change in the values of text-box and text-area field and it too ran successfully but the changed value is not reflected in the application..

Only if you had mentioned the test case you used, a small snippet of application html and how you modified the values. Some one might be able to help you.
