Automatic Deployement

Hi Guys ,

As a part of the automation process , i have a task to implement by Continues Integration process ..

Like i want to deploy my application to relevant server location also need to run some DB scripts on it ,
Currently we are doing these things in manual way ,,, i want to make these things total automated ...

My question is where am i need to start looking at .... i have no idea .. if any one please let me know ..
